# Scout agent

> How Scout continuously discovers EU grants, national funding, and investor leads across 612 live sources and ranks each match for your project.

Scout runs continuously in the background, scanning EU grant portals, foundation feeds, ministry pages, and investor databases. It matches each opportunity against your project profile and surfaces the best picks with a fit score.

## What Scout monitors

* EU grant portals (EIC, EIC Accelerator, Horizon Europe, Eurostars, etc.)
* National and regional ministry funding pages
* Foundation and soft-money feeds
* Angel networks and VC databases
* 612 sources total, updated in real time

## How matching works

For each opportunity, Scout evaluates:

| Signal        | What it checks                                      |
| ------------- | --------------------------------------------------- |
| **TRL**       | Does your technology readiness level fit the call?  |
| **Sector**    | Does your domain match the funder's focus areas?    |
| **Geography** | Are you eligible based on country and entity type?  |
| **Stage**     | Seed, Series A, pre-revenue — does the stage align? |
| **Deadline**  | Is there enough time to draft and submit?           |

Each match gets a **fit score (0–100)**. Opportunities below your threshold are filtered out; top picks are pinned in [Radar](/app/radar).
