# Draft editor

> Edit grant applications inline with a section outline, Reviewer quality scores, and a built-in agent dock to direct the Writer on specific sections.

The Editor is where grant applications are written, refined, and prepared for submission. Every active draft has a dedicated page here.

## Drafts index

The Editor opens on the drafts index — a list of every application in flight, with:

* Status (Drafting / Reviewer / Ready / Submitted / Won)
* Opportunity name and funder
* Deadline
* Quality score from the Reviewer
* Last activity

Click any draft to enter **Fill view**.

## Fill view

Fill view has three panels:

### Left — Section outline

A structured outline of the application's required sections. Click any section to jump to it. Completed sections show a green checkmark; flagged sections show a warning badge.

### Center — The draft

Fully editable, like a Google Doc. Make changes directly. The Writer’s output is a starting point — everything is yours to edit.

### Bottom — Agent dock

The dock is your interface to the Writer and Reviewer without leaving the draft. Use the chat composer to:

```text theme={null}
Tighten this paragraph
Add a citation from our Q3 lab report
Rephrase this for a non-technical evaluator
Insert our LOI from Fraunhofer as evidence
Check this section against the rubric
```

The dock also shows:

* **Sources** used to generate the current section
* **Quality score** per section from the Reviewer
* **Activity stream** — every step the agent took: Read prompt → Pull sources → Check rubric → Draft

## Submitting

When the Reviewer clears the full draft, a **Submit** button appears. Clicking it creates a task in [Tasks](/app/tasks) for your final approval. The application is never sent until you approve.
